Barb joined PrairieCare in March 2015 to enhance the resilience of children, adolescents, and families through integrative health psychotherapy services. Promoting health and wellbeing is her vision. Partnering with people to create healthy compassionate connections and strengthen resilience skills is how she promotes health. This holistic health approach builds on the strengths of individuals and families through collaboration, offering of resources, and guidance. Barb offers over 25 years of experience in community mental health dual-diagnosed services, managed care, private practice, consulting, health insurance and higher education. Applying evidence-based practices from neuroscience research and the framework of the mind, body, and spirit practices creates results for promoting sustainable change.
Outside of PrairieCare Barb is an instructor at the Center for Spirituality and Healing at the University of Minnesota and part of an integrative health private practice group, Cashman Center in Burnsville.
