Dr. Meza was a practicing psychiatrist in his native Colombia, before he decided to relocate to the United States. He retrained as a general psychiatrist in this country, later pursuing subspecialty training in child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Meza has ample research and clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric and addictive disorders.
In treating clinical conditions, Dr. Meza consistently attempts to integrate the most current research evidence, his experience, and the values and preferences of patients and families. Dr. Meza has special clinical interest in evidence based medicine and its application to psychiatric practice.
