Child, Adolescent, Adult & Research Psychiatrist

PrairieCare’s founder and a Child, Adolescent, Adult and Research Psychiatrist, Dr. Setterberg’s vision and compassion have fostered the systems and standards of care that define PrairieCare. His clinical practice includes both psychotherapy and psychopharmacology and as President and Chairman of the Board he continues to guide PrairieCare’s clinical innovations to benefit those suffering from psychiatric illness.  Dr. Setterberg’s dedication to truly comprehensive and integrative care is borne out in his involvement with the renowned International School of Analytical Psychology in Zurich, Switzerland, and with Stillpoint Spaces, an experimental application of psychoanalysis based in Europe (www.stillpointspaces.com).  His current clinical focus at PrairieCare is on fostering the essential role of psychotherapies in genuinely holistic care that aims to achieve more than temporary crisis-oriented symptom suppression.  This is a logical extension of his previous work on meaningful assessment of treatment outcomes.
