Auden O'ConnellArt Therapist

Auden received her Masters degree in art therapy from the School of Visual Arts in New York City.  She has experience working with children as well as adults in a psychiatric setting.  She incorporates both strength-based and psychodynamic theories in her work with her clients.  Auden integrates art history into her work, using art historical images as a resource and a starting point in the therapeutic process.  In this way, she seeks to create a safe environment for positive change in her clients’ lives.

A native of Minneapolis, Auden is a visual artist who believes that creativity is a source of growth and comfort.
