As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Brenda combines a wellness approach to counseling with a narrative and a strength based emphasis. Brenda is a Certified Worksite Wellness Specialist, as well as has a background in complimentary and integrative therapy. She understands the importance of incorporating art, play, music, mindfulness and relaxation techniques to encourage growth, particularly when working with children. Brenda has worked with children, adolescents and families and is passionate about helping them develop insight, as well as assisting them on their journey to change. She also enjoys facilitating groups that support children with common childhood challenges such as, social skills, anxiety and bullying.
Additionally, Brenda specializes in walking clients through difficult transitions, such as mid-life, divorce, death of a loved one, as well as the process of healing from illness or injury. She is committed to providing an opportunity for healing and growth in a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment.
