Joseph has over ten years of experience working in the field of mental health. His clinical practice incorporates work with patients from wide range of age groups, including adolescents and children. Joseph’s therapy process is building a supportive therapeutic alliance with his patients, thereby creating a trusting space for patients to work on challenging life issues and mental health concerns. Joseph concentrates his practice using person centered Rogerian therapy while also incorporating techniques of motivational interviewing, ego psychology and object relations. Joseph’s goal is to inspire and create a respectful environment where patients can examine stages of change, learn strategic coping skills and strengthen self-image.
Joseph enjoys fitness and athletic activities. He is an avid runner, is an experienced road and mountain bike cyclist and enjoys wilderness backpacking adventures.
