I joined PrairieCare in August 2011 as a Hybrid Therapist/Needs Assessment Counselor and moved into a permanent therapist position in the Maple Grove Partial Hospitalization Program in December 2011.  I have been working with children and adolescents since 2005 and am passionate about helping them to find a voice within their family system.  I believe in a strengths based approach to working with patients and their families.  I also often focus on choices and taking responsibility for oneself.  I think family therapy is a crucial component of treatment as I believe everyone in the family plays a part in what is going on at any given time.  I was thrilled to join the interdisciplinary team at PrairieCare because we are able to work together to give patients the care that they deserve.
