Rafael has been working as a clinician and providing therapeutic services since 2007. He has worked with patients in private practice, he has worked with court-involved youth, and he has worked with different populations in a number of both public and private inpatient psychiatric settings.
Rafael uses art therapy and verbal psychotherapy to help patients find more meaningful and satisfying connections and establish life goals. With a foundation in psychoanalytic theory and technique he believes in collaborating with patients to create a space where they can identify and elaborate their own unique priorities.
When he is not at work he enjoys spending time with his family and his dogs, as well as watching movies and swimming.
