Robyn is a licensed marriage and family therapist who joins PrairieCare with the opening of the new clinic in Chaska. Her professional background includes experience working with a wide range of age groups and populations, in a variety of settings. These range from home-based work with children and their families, to outpatient psychotherapy and intensive eating disorders treatment. Robyn integrates narrative, cognitive-behavioral, and systemic models of therapy into her work with clients. Her approach is collaborative, as she is passionate about coming alongside clients, working together to solve problems, heal emotional wounds, and enhance functioning and well-being in clients’ lives. Robyn’s specific areas of interest include: depression, anxiety disorders, family of origin issues, particularly working with Adult Children of Alcoholics, trauma/abuse, relational issues, and shame/self-worth issues.
