PrairieCare has been delivering high quality psychiatric and behavioral health services in the Twin Cities since 2005.

Originally a part of Prairie St. John's, PrairieCare has been the driving force behind the expansion of both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services. PrairieCare has developed a diverse and accessible continuum of care aimed towards treating psychiatric conditions and addictions for all ages.

In 2005, PrairieCare began outpatient programs in the Twin Cities for children and adolescents. These programs expanded quickly serving all ages and populations offering intensive outpatient psychiatric services treating a wide range of conditions. PrairieCare was the first organization in Minnesota to gain an exemption from the hospital moratorium to add child and adolescent psychiatric beds to a greatly under-served area.

Services at PrairieCare are provided by the most highly qualified professionals in a comfortable, supportive, and friendly environment. PrairieCare now has three convenient locations within the metro area. The Woodbury site offers intensive outpatient services, partial hospitalization and clinic services to all ages. The Edina site offers intensive outpatient services and partial hospitalization to children and adolescents as well as clinic services to all ages. PrairieCare opened a third site in Maple Grove which now includes partial hospitalization and inpatient hospitalization for children and adolescents.

PrairieCare is devoted to offering the highest quality psychiatric care and treatment to all. PrairieCare has a formal collaboration with the University of Minnesota Physicians and therefore is considered a premier training site for new psychiatrists and clinicians.
