Dr. Kennedy believes that treating an individual with mental illness or chemical dependency involves far more than finding the right medication. He derives great satisfaction from working in a field that involves getting to know his patients in a comprehensive way and in which he can demonstrate his genuine commitment to helping them finding a resolution or improve- ment of their mental illness which can lead them to an enhanced quality of life.

Dr. Kennedy has practiced Psychiatry in the Twin Cities for more than eight years in hospital, community health, and private practice settings. He has served as Medical Director for the Ramsey County Detox Center for five years. In his free time, Dr. Kennedy enjoys spending time with family, friends and pets and is an avid cold weather sports enthusiast.
