PrairieCare is happy to host Sibshops that offer support and promotes resiliency through activities and interactive education for siblings of those with mental illness. Sibshops is a nationally recognized program and are designed to be exciting and specialized just for brothers and sisters of children with special needs. At Sibshops, brothers and sisters will:
- Meet other brothers and sisters of children with special needs
- Talk with others who can relate to what things are like for them
- Learn more about what their siblings may be going through
- HAVE FUN!
Who are Sibshops for?
Sibshops are for siblings ages 7-12 of children with special needs.
Who runs Sibshops?
Our PrairieCare Sibshops are run by a team of professionals who are dedicated to working with children and have a greater understanding of siblings and children with special needs.
When and where are Sibshops held?
Sibshops will be held on one Saturday each month from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm at our Maple Grove
location (12915 63rd Avenue N. Maple Grove, MN 55369).

What is the cost of a Sibshop?
Each Sibshop costs $20 per family, snacks are included.
