Free Needs Assessments are offered to everybody seeking psychiatric services at PrairieCare. A parent, teacher, counselor, physician or friend can call our toll free number 24/7 to schedule a free Needs Assessment for a counselor to help determine the best services for the potential patient. Clinic Services include: psychiatric diagnosis assessment and treatment, psychological testing and treatment, neuropsychological testing, medication evaluation and treatment, individual therapy, family therapy and counseling.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are designed for patients who need organized treatment services, but are able to do this within the context of their usual environment and daily activities. Individual and family therapy can also be provided at this level of care and can be arranged through therapists in one of our clinic locations.

Partial Hospital Programs (PHP) provide multi-disciplinary treatment through group, individual and family therapy sessions. Patients remain at home while receiving intensive treatment (6-8 hours per day, Monday through Friday).

Inpatient care provides overnight hospitalization for children and adults suffering from acute mental illness and dual diagnosis patients. Patients participate in group therapy sessions while receiving individual and family therapy (anticipated opening: winter 2010).
