Susan Roers works with adolescents who are dealing with Addiction problems and Co-Occurring Disorders, which involves both Addictions and Mental Illness. She believes in a multi-disciplinary treatment approach which takes into account the individuals biological, psychological, social and spiritual needs. I believe that the patient needs active involvement in a sober support network that includes his or her family to identify attitudes, beliefs and behaviors that are not conducive to recovery. Susan provides education, support and counseling to her patients and their families in a safe environment, improving the ways they communicate and cope with conflict. In her time away from Prairie, Susan enjoys water skiing, snowmobiling, dancing, travel and time with family and friends.
