Raven joined PrairieCare in 2018 as the Community Relations Coordinator for the Edina location. She graduated from St. Catherine University and worked as a Social Worker for the University of Minnesota Medical Center for over two years. Raven’s role included work with the Adult population who were facing complex Medical, Chemical Health, Mental Health, and Crisis Intervention needs.

Raven also served as the first Behavioral Health Home Care Coordinator for Fairview Hiawatha Clinic. She worked on a multi-disciplinary care team to collaborate and deliver a holistic, psycho-social, coordinated plan of care to individuals experiencing serious mental illness. Through Raven’s experience in direct Social Work practice, she has developed a passion for being a voice in helping to eliminate stigma surrounding mental health. Raven enjoys being able to represent an organization that helps individuals find the psychiatric care they truly deserve. Raven feels that her current position helps bridge the gap for professionals to access the appropriate resources for their clients. In her free time Raven enjoys playing softball, traveling, being active, spending time with her family.

Marilyn joined PrairieCare in 2016 and is delighted to work for the only stand-alone children’s mental health hospital in Minnesota! Marilyn has previous experience working in the utility industry as a resource planner for 20 years before changing careers. She felt called to work in mental health and addiction care and started doing so in 2004. Her experience includes 12 years of managing the office for mental health and addiction in a large inner city tertiary hospital that had an indigent population serving the homeless population as well as those living with dual diagnosis of mental illness and addictions. Seeing and working with this population daily has connected her to her purpose which is connecting people with the mental health programs and services they need to truly be successful in living with their mental illness. In her spare time Marilyn enjoys yoga, gardening, church, and cooking for her husband, their 4 children and son-in-law.

Jim comes to PrairieCare and Paragon having served as a hospital-based mental health program manager. In that capacity he oversaw adult and child/adolescent Partial Hospital programs as well as mental health in-patient programming including occupational therapy, recreation therapy, music therapy and substance abuse counseling. Jim is ardent about eliminating the stigma surrounding mental illnesses. In his role as Community Relations Coordinator he will be promoting the therapeutic services offered at PrairieCare as well as Paragon among providers, school districts and other community partners
