Raven joins PrairieCare in 2018 as the Community Relations Coordinator working with the Chaska and Brooklyn Park, Medical Office Building sites. She graduated from St. Catherine University and worked as a Social Worker for the University of Minnesota Medical Center for the past 2 ½ years. Raven’s role included work with the adult population who were facing complex medical, chemical health, mental health, and crisis intervention needs.

Raven also served as the first Behavioral Health Home Care Coordinator for Fariview. She worked on a multi-disciplinary care team to collaborate and deliver a holistic, psycho-social, coordinated plan of care to individuals experiencing serious mental illness. Through Raven’s experience in direct Social Work practice, she has developed a passion for being a voice in helping to eliminate stigma surrounding mental health. Raven is excited to represent an organization that helps bridge the gap for professionals seeking services and resources for the individuals that they serve. In her free time Raven enjoys playing softball, traveling, being active and spending time with her family.

Marilyn Galloway

Marilyn joined PrairieCare in 2016 and is delighted to work for the only stand-alone children’s mental health hospital in Minnesota! Marilyn has previous experience working in the utility industry as a resource planner for 20 years before changing careers. She felt called to work in mental health and addiction care and started doing so in 2004. Her experience includes 12 years of managing the office for mental health and addiction in a large inner city tertiary hospital that had an indigent population serving the homeless population as well as those living with dual diagnosis of mental illness and addictions. Seeing and working with this population daily has connected her to her purpose which is connecting people with the mental health programs and services they need to truly be successful in living with their mental illness. In her spare time Marilyn enjoys yoga, gardening, church, and cooking for her husband and their 4 children and son-in-law.

Jim Maurer

Community Relations Coordinator


Jim comes to PrairieCare and Paragon having served as a hospital-based mental health program manager. In that capacity he oversaw adult and child/adolescent Partial Hospital programs as well as mental health in-patient programming including occupational therapy, recreation therapy, music therapy and substance abuse counseling. Jim is ardent about eliminating the stigma surrounding mental illnesses. In his role as Community Relations Coordinator he will be promoting the therapeutic services offered at Paragon among providers, school districts and other community partners.
