Amy received her masters degree in art therapy from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She utilizes art-based interventions based on the clients needs. Amy supports clients in a holistic approach, encompassing the entire individual with a practice including mindfulness. She also has a range of cognitive behavioral therapies, psycho-education, relaxation techniques and expressive therapies. She collaborates with the client and their families to utilize coping skills that can change their lives in a positive way..
Amy has clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in hospitals, in-clinic and in-home settings. Amy takes great effort in guiding clients in discovering their strengths to modify their thinking and behaviors in order to live more satisfying and productive lives.
