Amanda is a Master’s level Mental Health Practitioner. She works primarily as an associate therapist conducting diagnostic assessment at PrairieCare, helping the community members gain knowledge of what resources and level of care is most appropriate for each individual related to their current mental health symptoms.
Amanda has worked in several clinical settings including residential treatment working with adults recovering from chemical dependency, intensive outpatient programs working with adults, children and adolescents, Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS), Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS), and outpatient therapy. Amanda enjoys working with children, adolescents and adults. Amanda has an interest in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered and Adlerian theory that is both humanistic and goals oriented. She believes striving for success, connectedness with others and contributions to society as being a hallmark to mental health and belonging.
Amanda enjoys spending her time with family, camping, hiking and going to local coffee and donut shops.
