Jana obtained her Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University in 1996. She has worked in a variety of settings including residential treatment, community based programs, crisis intervention, and clinic settings. Jana has experience providing support to individuals of all ages and especially in the context of family. Her therapeutic style is honest, respectful, and focuses on listening and building relationships. Jana strives to work collaboratively with clients to help them utilize the strengths they already possess as they navigate life’s challenges. Areas of clinical focus are anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and identity development. In her free time, Jana enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, and cooking.
