Karalee has been working in mental health over 25 years and in advanced practice since 2006 as an Adult Psych Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist and Certified Adult Psych Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received all of her degrees at the University of Minnesota including Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1997, Masters of Science in Nursing in 2006 and Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2007.

She has worked in community mental health center, private clinic, correctional, chemical health, and inpatient mental health settings. She served on the State Advisory Board for Mental Health 2012-2016. She started out her career in crisis intervention/response work in Ramsey and Hennepin County. Now, her work focuses on people with serious persistent mental illness, dual disorder, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and thought disorders. She provides diagnostic assessment and medications management for adults of all ages. Her philosophy of care is for the individual needs to advance your life goals and promote self-care.
