Jacqueline Hass is a board-certified physician assistant with a history of giving her patients a well-rounded health education. Following her graduation from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Biology, Jacqueline attended physician assistant school at Barry University in Miami, Florida, where she received a master’s in Clinical Medical Sciences and her physician assistant certificate.
Following graduate school, Jacqueline began working at a rural primary care clinic in Marshalltown, Iowa. While working in Marshalltown, Jacqueline leaned into her desire to educate her patients, as the setting necessitated her to serve as a clinician, patient educator, and therapist. Serving the mental health of the community was integral as she helped the residents of the town work through the after-effects of the major Tornado that hit the town in July of 2018, helping patients with PTSD, depression, anxiety, as well as substance abuse and the effects of suicide on a community. She then joined PrairieCare in the summer of 2020.
Jacqueline’s style of treatment focuses on educating her children and adolescent patients on not only mental health but all aspects that feed into mental health, discussing nutrition, sleep hygiene, eating right, and exercise.
In her free time, Jacqueline enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking, spending time with her two cats, Gandalf and Gimli, and playing disc golf with her husband.
