Dr. Bhatnagar completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She then earned her medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 2013. Dr. Bhatnagar completed both her residency training in General Adult Psychiatry and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Chicago. Currently, she works at PrairieCare’s Brooklyn Park Inpatient Hospital.

Dr. Bhatnagar has had the opportunity to participate in and present at international conferences, including the Biennial Conference of the Society of Community Research and Action and the Muslim Women Resource Health Fair. She also has teaching and research experience on various topics, including neurobiology, microbiology, and psychopharmacology. Her clinical interests include psychosis, trauma, PTSD, eating disorders, and cultural barriers affecting treatment. She enjoys spending time playing the harmonium, watching Hollywood and Bollywood movies, and spending time with friends and family.
