Kenzie Reiland joined the Intake and Admission Department in Rochester in March of 2021, after several years working with a variety of patients.
Kenzie graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato in December 2016, with a Bachelor’s degree in social work. She began working at Nexus Family Healing, serving as a foster care/adoption social worker, as well as working with groups in the residential treatment facility. While working, she also completed her Master’s degree in social work, receiving her Master’s from Walden University in November of 2019. As a foster care and adoption social worker, Kenzie worked with kids and families, guiding parents through licensing and helping fulfill the placement needs of the family and the child. She also worked as a skills worker with kids 0-5 and worked with 12–16-year-olds in the residential treatment setting, as well as working with patients of all ages, from five to 67, while completing her Masters training.
Kenzie has found she enjoys working with all ages, but especially those in the teen years. She uses an eclectic assortment of styles and modalities for therapy, focusing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with a mix of solution focused work, person centered approach as well as motivational interviewing. She also has clinical interest in trauma, foster care, adoption, as well as depression, anxiety and ADHD.
In her free time, Kenzie enjoys traveling, watching sports, doing DIY projects and decorating her home.
