Kiara is a direct admissions counselor in PrairieCare’s inpatient admission department. Kiara completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with an associates in family studies. Kiara holds a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is currently working towards completing licensure to become a Marriage and Family Therapist. Kiara has always had an interest and appreciation for working with families who experience a spectrum of relational concerns including but not limited to parent/child conflict, communication barriers, and family stressors. Kiara has a particular comfortability with using social interest, advocacy, and harmony when working with families, especially ones that include members who are BIPOC.
When not working alongside patients and colleagues Kiara enjoys spending time with her family, playing music, working out, and cooking.
