Dr. Bourassa has been working in mental health since 2013 and received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing. She then completed a post-doctorate psychiatry residency at Duke University and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Durham, North Carolina.
She has experience in a variety of mental health settings including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and community settings; and working with various populations including children, adolescents, adults, geriatric, and veteran patients. Dr. Bourassa is board-certified to provide psychiatric diagnostic assessments, medication management, and psychotherapy.
Dr. Bourassa is passionate about integrative therapies and working with diverse populations. She believes that self-care is critical to our wellness and offers holistic, personalized care. She aims to partner with both her patients and the multidisciplinary treatment team.
Dr. Bourassa enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her rescue dog, Morgan, and traveling.
