Bachelor’s Degree: Augsburg College, Minneapolis, MN

Lindsay joined the PrairieCare team in March of 2011 with the opening of the hospital in Maple Grove. She began her career as an inpatient social worker before becoming a full-time, inpatient clinical therapist for children, adolescents and families, working in collaboration with the inpatient treatment team for several years. She has also served as a supervisor for BSW interns, and enjoyed educating and training those new to the field.
Currently, Lindsay is at the Center for Neurotherapeutics at PrairieCare’s Edina location and works within the clinic and within the intensive outpatient program for young adults receiving first episode psychosis treatment. She feels it is a privilege and an honor to work with those who are experiencing mental health struggles and holds a great appreciation for their strength and resiliency. Her therapeutic approach is holistic, strengths-based and systems-oriented. Lindsay incorporates mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, and has a special interest in the mind-body connection. She obtained additional training with the Mind/Body Center for Medicine, as well as with the Minnesota Psychoanalytic Society and Institute (MPSI).
During her free time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her child and dogs, reading, writing, cooking, and being around horses and the outdoors. She especially enjoys taking trips to the western region of Colorado, as the mountains hold a special place in her heart.
