Natalie is a Master’s Level Mental Health Practitioner. She joined PrairieCare’s team in 2015. Her professional experience includes facilitating psychoeducational groups, presenting on mental health in the Rochester public school system, and previously being a part of PrairieCare’s de-escalation team. Natalie believes in creating authentic relationships and harnessing client’s strengths to empower them to achieve their personal goals. She is passionate about advocating for mental health and believes it is important to decrease mental health stigma in the community.

Natalie has specialized training in working with children and adolescents who are struggling with substance use, including a range of concerns from those experimenting with drugs and alcohol to those who may already have progressed to dependency and addiction.  She uses an integrated and individualized approach to therapy, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

Natalie enjoys being outdoors, running, interior design, and spending time with her family. Her approach to therapy is to provide her client’s with a safe and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where they can develop tools to effectively cope with life’s difficulties.
