Dr. Perossa is originally from Houston, TX where he completed his undergraduate and graduate studies. Following completion of his studies, Dr. Perossa lived abroad for an extended period of time in Milan, Italy before he pursued medicine in Poznan, Poland. Upon completion of his studies, he briefly trained at Mater Dei Hospital in Msida, Malta before returning to the United States to pursue residency and fellowship in psychiatry at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Perossa has a variety of interests in the field of psychiatry and is most privy to working with bipolar and psychotic disorders. He believes that the best way to treat a child and adolescent is through a family system approach while conservatively utilizing medications. He enjoys spending time with family & friends, traveling, food, learning languages, and is obsessed with his 2 Scottish Fold Cats (Mama Coco & Bernie) as well as his Ragdoll cat (Rupert).
