Mike has worked as a Psychologist in private practice in the Twin Cities for the past thirty years. During that time he has conducted evaluations for local school districts, taken referrals from physicians, mental health professionals and parents as well as conducted independent evaluations for county and state programs. Mike works with patients of all ages and with a variety of conditions including: ADHD, Developmental Disabilities, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral issues, Autism Spectrum Disorders, substance abuse, head injury, mental illness and personality disorders. His assessments focus upon providing psychometric test results and diagnostics impressions that can be utilized to: clarify diagnoses, educate the patient and care providers, guide care and treatment, as well as to facilitate program planning. He works in collaboration with patients, parents, teachers, physicians, therapists, and others to formulate a comprehensive evaluation and treatment plan.

Mike has special expertise in working with patients who are culturally different. He has worked with children, teens and adults from Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, Burma, China, Mexico, El Salvador, Peru, Cuba, Brazil, Somalia, Liberia, Eretria, Ethiopia, France and Russia to assess for learning disabilities, ADHD, dementia, attachment disorders, PTSD and other psychological conditions.
