Ashley is a licensed professional clinical counselor for the State of Minnesota who is also board certified to provide supervision to LPC and LPCC candidates since 2016. Ashley has been in the mental health field since 2010 and have experience in providing services in rural mental health, inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, IRTS, as well as community mental health. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Social Work from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN where she lived for 13 years before relocating to the Mankato area three years ago. Ashley obtained her graduate degree in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy from the Adler Graduate School in Richfield, MN and has been a licensed clinician since 2016.

Theoretically, Ashley has an eclectic approach utilizing concepts from CBT, ACT, DBT, positive psychology, Adlerian and psychoanalytic theories. She has training in treating trauma, critical incident stress debriefings, conflict resolution, mood disorders, personality disorders, and inner child work. Also having on the job training in chemical health, gender identity, grief, and perinatal and postpartum health. Ashley believes each individual has a story that deserves to be heard and validated, and that insight can lead to a more fulfilling life. Everyone deserves to have a positive therapy experience and the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important aspects in creating an environment for healing to occur.

Outside of work Ashley enjoys spending time with family, traveling, photography, gardening, and working on home improvement projects.
