Bethany provides individual psychotherapy to adults at the Brooklyn Park outpatient clinic. She is a licensed clinical counselor who has been working in the mental health field for over 10 years, most recently at the Center for Grief, Loss & Transition in St. Paul, MN.  Additional experience includes outpatient therapy as well as extensive work in community mental health services including individual/group counseling, case management, transitional housing, and skill development.

Bethany provides a comfortable and respectful space for you to explore, grow and heal. Together, you will identify unhelpful patterns and connect with inner resources and strengths so that you are able to overcome feelings of being stuck, overwhelmed or conflicted inside. Treatment will be tailored to you and your unique goals using a variety of intervention styles including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, and mind-body techniques. Bethany especially enjoys working with individuals who are dealing with anxiety and/or significant life transitions (including young adulthood, grief & loss, re-entry after incarceration) as well as other trauma-related concerns.

Outside of work, Bethany enjoys connecting with nature, exploring the city, hearing live music and learning about holistic health and healing.
