Jason is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who joined PrairieCare in 2014. He has 20 years of experience which spans most age groups and levels of care. Jason utilizes an integrative treatment model that combines a Collaborative Family Systems approach with Solution-Focused Therapy. Jason also has specialized training with trauma utilizing ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. In addition, Jason has also developed a unique Intensive Outpatient Program that integrates ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and A-DBT (adapted-Dialectical Behavior Therapy).
Jason is warm, empathic, and builds rapport quickly with both adults and children. He is authentic and remains therapeutically curious while he encourages clients to delve beneath the surface and explore the underlying layers of a problem. He is most passionate about helping his clients (re)discover their inherent strengths and abilities, cultivate meaningful relationships, and develop a more vibrant and satisfying life. Jason currently sees adults, couples, families, and is able to incorporate Christian values as part of treatment when requested.
Jason is married, has 3 children, and enjoys spending free time with his family. He also enjoys the outdoors, hiking, skiing, camping, fishing, and bow hunting.
