Jen received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She has been licensed as an alcohol and drug counselor since 2000 and a licensed professional clinical counselor since 2016. Jen has gained her professional experience from working in clinic, residential, and community-based co-occurring treatment settings.

Jen’s areas of clinical interest include working with adults and families in the areas of depression, anxiety, relationships, communication, and chemical dependence. She is trained and experienced in cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, stages of change, and dialectical behavioral therapy in individual, family, and group settings. Jen is also trained in Basic and Advanced Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which is an eye-movement therapy that quickly treats a wide range of mental health issues. One of her therapeutic goals is to help clients find passion, joy, and purpose in their lives.

Jen joined PrairieCare in Rochester in May 2017 and brings enthusiasm to the team. When not at work, Jen enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her pets.
