Jessica started with PrairieCare in 2011 as a social worker on the inpatient unit, left briefly to finish graduate school and returned to work in the Adult Intensive Outpatient Programs in Edina. Her background is in serious and persistent mental illness, forensic mental health and developmental disabilities in a variety of treatment settings. Jessica currently works as the Lead Adult Clinical Social Worker across the PrairieCare organization as well as providing individual therapy and licensure supervision to fellow social workers. In addition to her work at PrairieCare, she also works casually at several metro hospitals in the Emergency Department providing mental health crisis consultations.

Jessica’s approach is generally direct, incorporating both compassion and humor. While her style is eclectic, she typically pulls from psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) concepts in her work along with a special interest in attachment theory.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, friends and rescue dog, spending weekends at her cabin and watching MN Wild hockey.
