Jessie is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She joined PrairieCare’s team in 2017. Jessie’s experience includes working with college-age young adult, adults, and older adults. She gained her experience providing services in day centers, residential facilities, and clinical settings working with adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, and Alzheimer’s/dementia.

She has experience providing psychoeducation (cognitive behavioral therapy, communication skills, interpersonal relationships, stages of change, DBT informed coping skills, and self-esteem) in both group and individual settings. Jessie believes in building compassionate and authentic relationships with clients in order to support them in their mental health journey. She utilizes Cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and person-centered modalities.

When not at work Jessie enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog, as well as her extended family. She enjoys being outside, working on creative projects, painting, photography, and watching movies.
