Laura is a licensed marriage and family therapist who obtained her Master’s Degree from Saint Mary’s University. Laura joined PrairieCare in June, 2011 and has worked in several roles and settings within the organization.

Laura believes each person is the expert on their own life. She practices a person-centered and evidenced-based approach to individually tailor therapy to each patient. Laura uses a flexible and eclectic style to continuously develop treatment as patients grow and change. Some of her modalities include: Intergenerational, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Narrative, Solution-Focused, and Psychodynamic interventions. Laura has worked with children, adolescents, groups, families, and adults in various levels of care.

Laura likes to spend her free time with family and friends, camping, cooking, traveling, working out, doing yoga, and being outside in the summer. Laura loves dogs, watching movies, and enjoys sitting down with a good cup of coffee.
