Lindsay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Interpersonal Communication from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Master’s Degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Lindsay has been providing counseling services to children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings including county agencies, juvenile detention, inpatient psychiatric hospital, residential treatment, and in family’s homes. Lindsay joined PrairieCare in 2013 working in the hospital setting connecting children and teenagers with mental health treatment services. She has provided group therapy, assessment, and crisis interventions as well as currently oversees admission and assessment processes within PrairieCare.
Lindsay takes an integrated approach within the therapeutic relationship through utilizing modalities including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, self-psychology, attachment, and object relations. Lindsay’s areas of expertise include: work with children/adolescents and therapeutic work within the parent/child relationship.
In her free time, Lindsay enjoys traveling and experiencing new places, connecting with nature, and recharging herself creatively through knitting, quilting, and making pottery.
