Lisa has been a licensed therapist for the past 14 years. She has spent the majority of her career focusing on Perinatal Mental Health and how it impacts individuals and families due to her own personal experience with Postpartum OCD. Lisa has extensive training in Perinatal Mental Health. She recently stepped down as the Co-Director of Pregnancy & Postpartum Support MN and as the State Coordinator for Postpartum Support International. Lisa enjoys working with individuals who want to explore their own identity and how it impacts their life. She also enjoys helping individuals understand their thoughts and behaviors and how to change them.

Lisa utilizes a non-judgmental and empowering approach that focuses on helping individuals find their strengths in order to cope with life’s challenges. She offers unconditional support to help in healing while actively challenging distortions or behaviors that interfere with progress. With an emphasis on client input she tailors treatment strategies to meet client’s specific needs using cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic and existential therapy, and well as systemic therapy.

Lisa is married with 2 children (14 and 9), and a family dog named Nala (Whippet). Outside of work Lisa loves spending her free time watching movies/tv or taking the dog for a walk with her family. Originally from Missouri she spends a lot of time traveling back there to visit extended family. Lisa loves Minnesota and all the seasons that it has to offer.
