Lynn’s experience in helping others includes counseling adolescents and adults, families and groups along with educating and teaching at the collegiate level. She has gained her professional experience providing services in clinical settings, schools and community-based programs serving at risk youth and those experiencing socioeconomic challenges.
Lynn uses a holistic approach to treatment that aims to consider all the various ways that healing happens by promoting whole-person wellness, collaborative goal setting and self-discovery. She strives to create a safe, non-judgmental and nurturing environment. Lynn has experience living abroad in Europe and integrating new cultures and this enhances her intentional work and understanding of individual needs. She utilizes a variety of approaches based upon each unique individual and their presenting concerns. These approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Strength-based Approach, Psychoeducation, and Solution-focused Therapy.
In her free time, Lynn loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, photography, gardening, baking, alternative healing arts and volunteering for local non-profit organizations for those impacted by cancer.
