PrairieCare Medical Group Mankato
PrairieCare Medical Group Southern Minnesota in Mankato provides Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) to adolescents, and adults, with services expanding to serve children (5-12 years old) in early 2019. This service is an intermediate level of care designed for assessment and stabilization for individuals struggling with mental illness. The state-of-the-art programming space includes group therapy rooms, a classroom (for school age patients), patient care station, gross motor area and brilliant natural light. This space design allows for an optimal healing environment conducive for treatment. The services provided in Mankato are meant to complement the existing mental health services in the community, filling a gap in mental health access to care.
